A NEWS PUBLICATION OF THE SINGING PLAINSMEN
The Singing Plainsmen are Plateau A Champions for the Northwest Division of the Southwestern District, which qualifies the chorus to compete in the District contest in Little Rock this fall.
The contest was held in Graham, Texas on March 16, 2001. The Singing Plainsmen were also awarded the most improved chorus plaque.
All the success The Singing Plainsmen have had is due in large part to the leadership of director Fravin Adams. Congratulations, Fravin!!!

The Singing Plainsmen Chorus is a member of SPEBSQSA Inc., and was founded in 1945 in Lubbock as the first chapter in Texas. Meeting time is 7:30 PM on Thursdays at Lubbockview Christian Church at 34th Street and Hartford Avenue. We invite any men who can sing to just drop in and try us out, or call or e-mail the sources on this page for more information. We are an A Cappella singing group, and love to sing close harmony. The Singing Plainsmen Chorus has recently been a member of the Contemporary A Cappella Society.
